LIVE is more than guidelines and rules, it is a way of thinking. To be sustainable means applying sustainable thinking to the vineyard, employees and customers as well. If what you are doing is not sustainable for all three legs of this stool then it will not endure. I love to mention during sales trips that our vineyard is also Salmon-Safe! The exception to this is our Pinot Noir which is just delicious with salmon!

This is an exciting time for the Oregon wine industry. Approximately 40% of the vineyards in Oregon will become certified sustainable in 2011!
To accomplish the lofty goals of the coming years we need your help. Our meteoric growth of the past three years has created the need to expand our administrative infrastructure, and strengthen our internal information systems. These changes have created some fiscal challenges for the LIVE Board. We always hesitate to raise dues and fees on our burgeoning new membership, lest they get discouraged. The LIVE Board has decided to make this appeal for help with keeping our organization in the black. If you choose to donate, but not to pursue LIVE Winery Certification, your support is requested at the levels listed below. We hope that we can count on your help!

Less than 10,000 cases per year-$300
More than 10,000 cases per year-$500
