LIVE Certified Wineries
| In 2008, LIVE developed the first-of-its-kind sustainable winery certification program. The peer-reviewed standards were developed over 8 months, and were adapted from the South African Integrated Production of Wines Cellar Manual. 17 vineyards participated in the pilot phase of this project. LIVE winery members must complete one year of successful participation in the program in order to obtain Certified status. Only those members who have achieved LIVE certification are shown below. Certification involves adherence to international standards of integrated production in the winery, as well as third-party verification of these practices.
